An able-bodied man caught stealing plantain from a nearby farm in the Niger Delta part of the country has met his waterloo.

According to reports, the man pictured here was caught stealing plantain yesterday in a farm in Sagbama overside, Bayelsa State.
He has been whisked away by the police force for subsequent prosecution. This has been applauded by Nigerians as the young man would have been lynched in other climes in the country.
