The wife of a former military Governor has received serious bashing from Nigerians after a photo of her with 'terrible makeup' appeared online.

Nigerians on Instagram have come for the head of Gladys, wife of ex-military governor of Imo and Lagos State, Rear Admiral (retired) Ndubuisi Kanu after she was spotted at The Lagos History Lecture which was one of the events earmarked to celebrate Lagos at 50 looking 'horrible' because of her heavy makeup.
The photo which was shared by billionaire, Dele Momodu’s ovation page has attracted responses from people who believed that the woman took 'bleaching her skin' and use of makeup too far.
"But why.....ladies kindly take it easy on the make-up." someone wrote.
