Two beautiful South African lesbians have married before family and friends after meeting at their work place two years ago.
Babalwa Dasha and Zonke Mngoma
Babalwa Dasha (36) from Bhofolo, Eastern Cape and Zonke Mngoma (37) from Newlands West, Durban have married after meeting two years ago at work, Daily Sun ZA reports.
The two said they didn’t take long for them to see they were meant for each other. They were married at Zonke’s family home where friends, family and neighbours came to witness their union.
Both women work at Umhlanga Hospital, where Babalwa is a pharmacist and Zonke is a nurse.
Their traditional wedding was conducted by Pastor Zenzi Zungu of the Victory Ministries Church International.
“We are all created by God. He made us all different,” said Zungu.
Zonke, who has an 11-year-old daughter, said: “Our families accepted us and we are happy for that.”
Babalwa’s mother, Thandi Dasha (59) welcomed her makoti to the Dasha family.
“We love you and I’m glad that my daughter brought home someone who will take care of me,” she said.
