A huge snake has left community members in an Indian village perplexed after it gulped down a huge bottle.

People were left in amazement after a huge snake was caught on camera swallowing a big soda bottle.
The footage, which was reportedly filmed somewhere in Goa, India, shows the reptile trying to squeeze ‘life’ out of the plastic bottle as if it is one of its preys. But the bottle proves too difficult to handle.
Angered by the liquid container’s stubbornness, the snake decided to swallow it whole, perhaps hoping that its digestive system will take care of the rest.
Meanwhile, a crowd of curious locals milled around to witness what was to follow.
“On seeing the snake’s bulgy stomach, my first thought was that the cobra must have swallowed some really huge meal. The last thing I expected to hear was that it had actually swallowed a bottle” says Goutham Bhagat, wildlife rescuer. The viral footage shows the locals, who had gathered to witness, relieved after the reptile manages to eject the inedible object.
