A heartless mother has done an unthinkable thing by abandoning her baby in a bush before the child was rescued.

A newborn baby boy, who was dumped in the bush, has been found alive by some contract workers, according to a report by the police.
The photo of the little baby found in a bush in Eastern Cape of South Africa, around 5pm on Thursday, June 1 was posted by South African police.
The baby boy was found by contract workers from Laurie Dashwood and taken to Queentown Police Station. The baby has since been bathed, cleaned and dressed in some clothes to keep him warm.
As at the time of filing this report, police is investigating the circumstances surrounding the birth of the baby and the subsequent dumping in the bush.
