A man and woman who are just newly wedded have suffered an unbelievably tragic fate in a really horrific boat mishap.

A newly-married couple was among four people who perished in a boat accident recently.
According to SDE, the boat accident occurred near Sirongo Beach in Bondo sub-county, Siaya County, Kenya on Sunday evening.
Joseph Otieno and Geneviv Amondi tied the knot in a traditional ceremony in Kano, Kisumu County, two weeks ago.
Ms Amondi’s mother, Monica Aoko, who is now camping at the beach as the search for the bodies continue, described the incident as a big blow to her family.
“It is very unfortunate that I have lost a daughter and a son-in-law in one day. They meant a lot to me and I never expected this to happen,” said Ms Aoko.
The accident opened fresh wounds of a similar tragedy that saw eight people die in the neighbouring Lihunda Beach last year, when a boat they were travelling in capsized.
Aoko said she last saw her daughter on Saturday, a day before she received the shocking news.
Poor safety measures for lake travellers as well as overloading are said to be major factors in the two accidents.
