Recruitment: Nigerian Navy Warns Nigerians Against Fraudsters

In a statement issued in Abuja by Capt. Suleiman Dahun, the Nigerian Navy on Wednesday, alerted Nigerians on fake online recruitment sites operated by fraudsters.

The Nigerian Navy on Wednesday, alerted Nigerians on the activities of fraudsters currently operating fake online recruitment sites.
 
A statement issued by the Director of Information, Navy Capt. Suleiman Dahun in Abuja, alerted Nigerians on the activities of scammers who are operating fake recruitment websites.
 
The statement read thus:
 
"The Nigerian Navy wishes to alert members of the public of the activities of fraudsters who are currently operating fake online recruitment sites.
 
"For the avoidance of doubt, the portal for registration of candidates for the 2017 Nigerian Navy Recruitment Exercise has not been opened.
 
"Therefore, innocent members of the public are advised to steer clear of these fraudulent sites.
 
"Furthermore, information will be conveyed to the public on the commencement of the recruitment exercise in the mass media.
 
"The NN 2017 Recruitment form will be free of charge when registration begins.
 
"In view of the importance of this, you are please requested to disseminate this information for general public awareness."
