A man has been caught by local residents stealing yam tubers at Onitsha main market, Anambra State, and was publicly paraded with one of the tubers on his neck.

According to a Facebook page, SpectaScope Nigeria, who shared the photo on social media, a man was caught earlier on Thursday in the commercial city of Onitsha in Anambra State while stealing tubers of yam and was publicly paraded with the stolen items.
Multiple online reports from eyewitnesses reveal that the old poor man was apprehended in the process of stealing of more than 10 tubers of yam and was paraded with the food item on his neck.
