Men of the Ebonyi state police command have nabbed seven deadly armed robbery and car snatching gang in the state.

The Ebonyi State Police Command has paraded seven suspects for their alleged involvement in car snatching, armed robbery, cultism and unlawful possession of ammunitions.
According to Punch, the suspects were paraded before newsmen in Abakaliki the State capital on Wednesday. The Police Public Relations Officer Jude Madu said the suspects were apprehended at various locations in the state.
The suspects were identified as Kingsley Onubo 35 years (m) and Okechukwu Chika 28years (m). The police also recovered a black Toyota Camry with registration number; LSD 302 AN by the police.
He said that the Police arrested one robbery suspect named Uchenna Kelechi who was nabbed at Agubata Amagu in Ikwo local government area and specialised in robbing members of the public at gunpoint.
Madu disclosed that two dreaded cultists identified as Emeka Onwe and Chinonso Oge, who have been terrorising residents of Ohaukwu community were arrested in the area with assorted arms and ammunition as well as military camouflage.
He opined,”This dreaded cultists in Ngbo, Ohaukwu communities have been given us wahala and they have been attacking and dispossessing the people with their arms.”
In an interview, the suspects admitted committing the crime but said they were led into it by their friends.
