A police officer has gone on deadly ravage, shooting two of his own colleagues dead and injuring another person.

An Kenyan police officer has shot dead two colleagues and injured another in Marigat, Baringo county, Tuko reports.
 
The officer identified as Jackson Mwangi Nyaga shot dead Gabriel Kungu Njoroge and Francis Ekeno at the Rapid Deployment Unit camp in Arabal/Kasiela, Baringo.
 
The third officer, Daniel Kyalo Mutuku, was left with serious gunshot wounds and is admitted at the Marigat sub-county hospital.
 
The incident happened on the evening of Wednesday, June 21 at around 9 pm. The assailant is on the run with the gun he used to shoot his colleagues.
 
Police have launched a manhunt for him.
 
It is not the first time a police officer is involved in an unwarranted shooting. In February 2017, a police officer attached to the Embakasi Police Station shot himself dead after shooting his colleague.
 
Tuko reports that the two officers had an argument which led to the shooting.
 
In 2016, a radicalised police officer killed seven of his colleagues in Kapenguria after taking the police station hostage. It later emerged that the officer had links with the al-Shabaab terror group.
