President Buhari Sacks MD of Nigerian Ports Authority and Reinstates former MD Sacked by GEJ

President Buhari has terminated the appointment of the Managing Director of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Alhaji Sanusi Ado Bayero and reinstated the one sacked by Goodluck Jonathan in April this year, Habibu Abdullahi (right).

 
According to an official statement by the presidential spokesperson, Mr. Femi Adesina, President Muhammadu Buhari has terminated the appointment of the Managing Director of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Alhaji Sanusi Ado Bayero.

The statement says that the termination of Alhaji Bayero’s appointment is with immediate effect. He directed Bayero to hand over the management of the NPA and all government property in his possession to Mr. Habibu Abdullahi who has been reinstated as Managing Director of the NPA by President Buhari. Habibu Abdullahi was sacked by Goodluck Jonathan in April this year

The President also wished Bayero well in his future endeavours
