Foundation For Environmental Rights, Advocacy & Development has petitioned the Inspector General of Police over the manhandling of a man by the youths of Isiala Ngwa South.
The man accused of being a wizard
The angry youths of Ndiolumbe, Nvosi in Isiala Ngwa South Local Government of Abia State, reportedly attacked and assaulted a man identified as Esau Ihemeje over allegations of being a wizard.
According to multiple online reports, the youths dragged him out of his home at about 4:00am on May 2nd, and gave him the beating of his life after accusing him of causing calamities in their community.
Meanwhile, an NGO named Foundation For Environmental Rights, Advocacy & Development (FENRAD), has petitioned the Inspector General of Police over the manhandling of Ihemeje.
