Luck has ran out on a cassava thief after he was caught and paraded n*ked in public for stealing the tubers.
A cassava thief has been disgraced in public after he was caught yesterday at a remote village in Akwa Ibom State stealing cassava tubers.
He was stripped n*ked and beaten mercilessly before being paraded around the village as a warning to any other villager who have intention of indulging in criminality in the village.

He was also asked to eat the raw cassava tubers. After that, the village Head ordered for his release.The village head thereafter sound a serious note of warning to all villagers that he and his cabinet will not in anyway condole any manner of criminality in his domain.
