Top Nigerian comedians, Bovi and AY are currently to be at logger heads with one another over who cracked a joke first.
As the war on piracy and stealing of intelllectual properties among Nigerian entertainers rages on, Comedian Bovi, yesterday shared a video skit on his Instagram from 7 years ago - a joke about how a security man headbutted his boss's daughter because the boss told him to use his head to prevent the daughter from going out.
Bovi's video post came on the heels of AY's release of a video skit to promote his upcoming show. In the skit, AY told his security man to use his head in a bid to stop his girlfriend from visiting him during his date with another girl. When the security man asks how to prevent her from gaining entry, AY said "Use your head." When the girl came, the security man gave her a headbutt.
It was reported that the act did not go down well with Bovi who felt his intellectual right was being infringed upon. After posting the original video and the caption, Bovi's fans unanimously agreed that the AY's skit was a rip off of Bovi's intellectual property which he cold-heartedly stole without giving credit to the originator.
