A popular Ghanaian ex-footballer who was betrayed by his wife of 21 years has revealed how he discovered that his wife was sleeping around and that the children didn't belong to him.

Former Ghanaian professional footballer and current assistant manager at Ghanaian football club Sekondi Wise Fighters, Nii Odartey Lamptey has revealed in a recent interview how he found out that the three children he thought belonged to him were fathered by other men.
He gave the touching interview with Nana Aba Amoah of GHOne‘s “Cheers”.
He also revealed how he was betrayed by his ex-wife. Before the tragic news, he had been with her for 21 years with 3 kids aged - 20, 19 and 8. It was gathered that trouble started after his wife filed for divorce over his inability to send the oldest child to the UK for university education.
He however arranged for a DNA test for his children following advice from a friend. He was shocked to find out that the kids were not his own. He further said that on the advise of his lawyer, he is not allowed to speak with the kids. The former ex-Aston Villa and PSV midfielder revealed how shocked he was to discover that the children were not his and how his wife blamed him claiming he was impotent.
