Panic as Suicide Bombers Kill 11 People in Fatal Bomb Blast in Maiduguri

About eleven people have lost their lives after two suicide bombers attacked people in separate suicide attacks in Maiduguri on Tuesday.

As many as 11 persons were killed while three sustained injuries in separate suicide attacks in Maiduguri, capital of Borno state, The Cable has reported.
 
It was gathered that the two suicide bombers detonated their explosives around Molai Kalamari at exactly 10pm on Tuesday. He added that the second explosion took place at Sabongari Polo area of the state capital.

“I cannot specifically tell you whether the suicide bombers were male or female. But we have deployed emergency response team to the scene,” the source said.
 
A resident of Molai Kalamari identified as Ibrahim Baba said that the explosion occurred very close to his residence.

“We all woke up in fear and shock. The sound was loud as if it happened inside my house,” he said. The incident left residents of the area in a state of panic as Boko Haram renewed its onslaught against the people in that part of the north.
