The name and photos of an innocent lady kidnapped by members of the dreaded Boko Haram terrorists alongside others have been released.

The name and photos of one of the women kidnapped by dreaded Boko Haram members have been released on social media.

The beautiful woman identified as Sarah John (Awa) is among the fourteen women kidnapped in a raid by the militant group on a military/police convoy in Borno State some weeks ago. The incident took place a few kilometres outside Maiduguri, on Damboa Road.

Maria Mark Mshelia shared the photos on Twitter.

It could be recalled that a large convoy travelling from Maiduguri to Damboa under a military escort was ambushed on June 20 by Boko Haram gunmen some 31 kilometres from Maiduguri which the police authorities denied. However, a video of the kidnapped women was released some days ago which showed that the denial by the police authorities was false.

Some of the travellers, including a police officer and a soldier were killed in the ambush.
