A human leg has been found lying on the banks of a river, causing serious panic among residents who spotted the anomaly.

The residents of a small Ugandan village are in shock after a human leg was discovered lying on the banks of their river.
According to Daily Monitor, the mysterious leg was dumped on the banks of River Nambale in Natodeme Village in the eastern part of the country.
It was found inside a box. A sock and a shoe were on the foot of the severed leg.
It is not clear exactly when the leg was found.
A resident who did not wish to be named told Daily Monitor: “We were shocked and called the police to retrieve the leg. We suspect the leg belongs to a person who was killed somewhere else.”
Cops picked the leg up and confirmed they are investigating.
