A young man has murder his elder brother in cold blood because he was asked to wash plates.

It was a sad day for a family in Akute, a suburb of Ogun State, after a 25 year old man, Kenneth Chikwado Agbamone was reportedly stabbed to death by his younger brother, Ekene, following an argument about who should wash dirty plates in the house.

According to reports, on Tuesday, July 14,  Kenneth and Ekene had a serious argument after the elder brother instructed the younger man to wash the plates the family used in eating the previous night, before leaving for a church programme.

On returning from the church service and seeing that Ekene had still not washed the dirty dishes, Kenneth got angry and demanded that his younger brother promptly washed the plates but Ekene was said to have refused to comply, an action that got Kenneth angry and he used his belt to hit the younger man before leaving the house to get some water.

On coming back, Ekene who was still boiling with anger attacked his brother with a knife and stabbed him in the chest and fled the house.

It was the screams of the injured Kenneth that drew the attention of neighbours and their mother who sold roasted corn on the street.

On getting to the scene, they met Kenneth in a pool of his own blood.

He died as he was being rushed to a nearby hospital while Ekene has been arrested by the police.
