In a reported effort to clamp down on online criticism, the Ebonyi state government has reportedly banned civil servants in the state from using Facebook.

According to a Facebook user identified as Chris Nnanna Ogba JP, who made a shocking revelation on social media, the Gov. David Umahi-led Ebonyi state government has reportedly banned civil servants in the state from using Facebook.
 
It was gathered that in a reported effort to clamp down on online criticism, the government took the drastic decision and according to a viral photo shared online, the memo is titled "Frivolous posting of obnoxious comments in the social media against Ebonyi state government by some unscrupulous civil/public servants in the state."
