A sad incident has left many people baffled as some Muslim faithfuls blocked a major road in Kogi state to pray causing serious gridlock.

People were left in shock as Muslims took over a major road in Ejule area of Kogi state to observe Friday prayers causing serious traffic holdup in the area.
The sad incident was captured by Senior Writer, Sun Newspaper, Peter Agba Kalu who wrote: "They blocked the Federal Road at Ejule, Kogi State for their Friday prayers. This is Sharia Nigeria not One Nigeria."
Many people have condemned the act, calling it stupid and provocative. Others have asked why the Muslims had not used their mosque or another place instead of blocking a major road used by people for movement, causing discomfort to law-abiding citizens.
