Popularly known as Iya-olobi during her lifetime, a renowned business woman and mother of Osun State Governor, Alhaja Saratu Aregbesola, has passed on.
Alhaja Saratu, the mother of the Osun State Governor, Rauf Aregbesola, has died this morning in the governor's hometown of Ilesha.
Gov Aregbesola's official Instagram page; @raufaregbesola, tweeted few minutes ago on Twitter: "Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un." This Arabic statement translates to "We belong to Allah and to Him we shall return."
The remains of the deceased would be buried in Ilesa today in accordance with Islamic rites.
