A group under the aegis of Atiku National Youth Organization (ANYO) has called on the former vice president, Atiku Abubakar to accept the olive branch extended to him by the leadership of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to return to the party in the spirit of reconciliation.

This comes after the Supreme Court judgement that has terminated the long-standing crisis in PDP.

This is also in line with the current move by the party to reconcile all the aggrieved members and the call by a section of the party on the former vice president to return to the party.

The group led by Hon. Hyacinth Harsila and Comrade Tiku Samuel, national president and national secretary respectively, said ahead of 2019 general elections, it has begun to strategise for Atiku Abubakar’s presidential ambition, adding that the call on him to return to the party by the PDP leadership is to enable him rebuild the party he had nurtured as the largest party in Africa.
