In what will come across as a really shocking development, a man has been found nailed to a tree in the bush causing quite a stir.

The man was found screaming in pain

This is the horrifying footage which recently emerged showing the moment a police officer discovered a man nailed to a tree.

According to Metro UK, the man Jose Duran had stakes rammed through both hands and was left for dead in the middle of a wooded area in Albuquerque New Mexico.

A city worker found him after hearing his cries for help back in May, reports KRQE News 13.

The worker said: ‘He kept yelling, “help, help”, and so I came and I saw him and I kind of freaked out because I didn’t know if there was any other guys around.’

Footage from the bodycam of a cop shows Duran groaning in pain. He was still conscious when he was found. It is not clear how long he was nailed for.

At first, he doesn’t reveal what happened to him. The cop asks: ‘What happened, man? Paramedics are on their way, okay? Is there anyone in the area that could still hurt you?’

Then he replies: ‘Two guys. Two guys tried to kill me.’

Rescue workers spent hours trying to delicately free him from the tree. He was taken to hospital and is recovering well.

Duran was allegedly confronted by two men that day who made threats over a real estate deal that had turned sour.

No arrests have been made at this time.
