It should be recalled that the
Nigerian Broadcasting Commission blacklisted some popular Nigerian songs and videos for containing vulgar lyrics and having obscene videos on August 18, 2015.
In a memo sent to media outlets, a NTTB (not to be broadcast) label was placed on 18 songs which included Naeto C’s
Tony Montana where he featured D’banj.
Music artiste, Naeto C took to social media to swiftly reply to NBC’s ban placed on the song yesterday.
He shared the an image from the video which contained instructions that the
“video is a work of fiction created for viewing pleasure and in no way promotes violence or the use of firearms.”
