A young man who was caught today stealing transformer armored cables in a community in Akwa Ibom state was stripped unclad and severely punished.

A Facebook user has taken to the social networking platform to post photos and narrate how a man was apprehended on Wednesday for stealing some armored cables at a transformer, and was stripped unclad after being caught.

"Earlier hours of today one Mr. Samuel (surname withheld) from Nung Atai got in an act of stealing transformer Armored Cables in Ekeya, Okobo by the able Vigilante Youths Group.
