As many as eight persons have gone missing after a deadly landslide hit a community, sparking commotion in the area.

A landslide has forced the evacuation of several small villages in southeastern Switzerland on Wednesday, police said Thursday.
According to Agence France Presse, up to eight people, including German, Austrian and Swiss citizens, are missing currently following the incident.
“In the region of Val Bondasca, eight people who were there at the time of the landslide have not been found,” the Graubunden cantonal police said in a statement.
