In what will come across as a really stunning development, a woman has threatened to abort her baby unless she gets a number of retweets.
Saipanting
This is the woman who claimed to be four months pregnant and then threatened to get an abortion unless her annoucement got 4,000 retweets online.
Known only as Saipanting, the alleged mum-to-be declared on Twitter that she was expecting a baby alongside a selfie.
We have not been able to establish whether the woman is actually pregnant, or if the tweet is a hoax.
But she then claimed that unless she got enough shares on the social media site she would be terminating the pregnancy.
She wrote: "4 months pregnant. 4k RTs & I won't abort it."
But it appeared that the puported dad of the unborn child had also been in the dark that his ex-girlfriend had been expecting.
And he took to Twitter writing: "Instead of letting me know it was my baby you decided to come on Twitter with that bulls**t?
Then he later gave a glimpse into how their relationship broke up by posting: "You told everyone I died then you sold my dog for tickets to a Lil Pump concert."
But despite their disagreement, others on Twitter were more concerned about her annoucement, and begged her to seek help.
One woman wrote: "Why? Ever think this happened for a reason? you're already almost halfway there. You can get help and there are adoption agencies. "
But other were convinced the tweet was an attention-seeking stunt and that it was staged.
However, Saipanting from Florida, did manage to exceed 4,000 retweets and currently has more than 10,000.
But it is unclear if she really was pregnant or not.
