Dele Momodu, a veteran Nigerian journalist has waded into the pre-mature marriage crisis of the Ooni of Ife, Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II which has been attributed to diverse issues.

Dele Momodu, the Ovation magazine boss, has shared a photo of himself sitting with Olori Wuraola on his Instagram page.

He used the opportunity to speak on the crash of Olori Wuraola’s 17-month-old marriage to Ooni of Ife. The Ovation media guru ostensibly hinted the public on the state of things with the Ooni and his estranged queen.

The news of the crash of their marriage has rocked every nook and cranny of the country with various opinions being aired about the duo.

Dele Momodu in his post appreciated Olori Wuraola for taking her time to pour out her heart and hint him on her future plans. The queen was dressed in her usual white attire but without the turban and beads she rocked in the early days of her marriage.

While the queen looked a little different without these things, it also feels good to be able to see her rock her weaves without wearing the turbans. Dele Momodu referred to himself as a peace maker with his effort in trying to mediate and help the couple.

He revealed that Olori Wuraola has vowed not to disrespect the revered throne of Oduduwa that is the origin of Yoruba race. He felt honoured to be able to hold such a meeting with the Ooni of Ife’s queen.

Dele Momodu prayed for the queen saying it is well with her because when marriages break up, they come with painful stress and traumatic strain.
