BREAKING News: 2 Players Unconscious, Others Injured as FC Ifeanyi Ubah Club Bus Crashes in Road Accident

A statement signed and released by the Chukwuma Ubah on Friday, confirmed that team players and some officials of FC Ifeanyi Ubah were involved in a fatal car accident.

According to a report by Vanguard, a bus conveying FC Ifeanyi Ubah football team players and some officials to Ijebu Ode to honour the NPFL Matchday 36 fixture with Sunshine Stars billed for this Sunday, 3rd of September, 2017, has on Friday, involved in a road accident. 
 
Two of the players became unconscious while some others sustained varying degrees of injuries, as the bus involved in a head-on collision with a passenger bus along Ijebu-Ode road just before noon.
 
A statement signed by the clubs Chairman, Chukwuma Ubah confirmed the incident.
 
According to the statement, “We wish to confirm that FC IfeanyiUbah team bus conveying players and officials was involved in a car accident along Benin/Ore expressway while on our way to Ijebu Ode to honour the NPFL Matchday 36 fixture with Sunshine Stars billed for this Sunday, 3rd of September, 2017.

“Six of our players sustained varying degree of injuries and two that are unconscious hitherto have regained consciousness and are receiving treatment presently at the closest medical facility near the site of the accident. We wish to express our felicitations for your concern, support, outpour of emotions, deepest thoughts and prayers at this sad times.”
