Aisha Buhari has put smiles on the faces of a number of orphans in her husband's hometown in Katsina with scholarships.

The wife of the President, Aisha Buhari, has offered scholarship to 60 orphans in Daura, Katsina State.
She said that it was her own way of giving back to the society and she believed that the best gift a child could get is education.
Aisha Buhari posted a picture of the children and herself on the social media and wrote; "It gladdens my heart to be able to give back to the people. The love and support we have received from Nigerians have been overwhelming.
“As a mark of my continued appreciation, this morning, I awarded 60 orphans/less privileged children in Daura Katsina State scholarship for the duration of their primary school education, the importance of Education cannot be underestimated and it’s the best gift one can award a child.”
