President Muhammadu Buhari who left his hometown in Daura, Katsina state this morning, has arrived in Abuja after spending the Eid-El-Kabir holidays.

reported earlier today reported that President Muhammadu Buhari departed Daura for Abuja after spending his Eid el-Kabir break. The presidential helicopter with registration no.NAF-540 left the Daura helipad for Abuja at 10.24 a.m.
The president was in the company of immediate members of his family, Media aide, Garba Shehu and the Chief Security Officer, Bashir Bindawa and members of the protocol unit of the villa.
Presient Buhari who was accompanied to the departure point by the emir, politicians, well wishers and security personnel deployed to cover the visit, has arrived in Abuja after spending the Eid-El-Kabir holidays in his hometown of Katsina state.
While in Daura, the President played host to several groups including Corp members serving in Katsina where he reiterated the need to sustain the country’s unity. The President also met with the President of Niger Republic, Muhammadou Issoufou and the two leaders met behind closed doors.
The weekly Federal Executive Council meeting had been called off over what the Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed attributes to the inability of ministers to adequately prepare the documents for the meeting.
