A 25-year-old South African socialite identified as Lebohang Mathuloe has been found dead at Pecanwood Estate, Hartbeespoort, North West South Africa where she reportedly stabbed herself to death.

According to Daily Sun, after news of Lebohang’s death broke, a photo she had taken with BidVest Wits coach, Gavin Hunt started circulating on social media, alongside messages of condolences to her family.

However, the death of the beautiful lady has generated confusion as some claimed Mathuloe was killed by her boyfriend, although the cops said she died from her wounds after stabbing herself.

A friend said Lebohang had been dating a white man for some time.

“She was always posting nice photos of her having a good time. She seemed happy and we don’t know what could have caused the argument we believe led to her death.”

Reacting to the incident, Hunt, who said he knew Lebohang denied having a relationship with her.

Police spokeswoman, Sergeant Kelebogile Molepo, said an inquest docket has been opened.

“At this time, we have no suspects and investigations are continuing.”
