Jubilation in Court as IPOB Members Arrested During Clash With Soldiers at Ishigate are Discharged (Photos)

Members of the Indigenous People of Biafra arrested after a clash with soldiers have been released by a court in Umuahia.

There was jubilation today at the Magistrate Court in Umuahia, Abia State as 10 members of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, who were arrested on 4th September arrested at Ishigate Umuahia following a clash with soldiers, were discharged.
 
The arrested IPOB members were released by the court
 
It was gathered that some military personnel shot a tricycle operator after discovering a Biafran flag on his tricycle leading to a confrontation.  The development led to protest and the military men allegedly called for re-enforcement and began shooting live bullets to disperse the protesters.
 
 
The youths pictured with injured faces were received by IPOB leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu after their release by the army.
