The governor of Kaduna state says the minister of women affairs who openly declared her support for Atiku, has never been a supporter of President Buhari.

While speaking with state house correspondents after meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari in Abuja on Friday, the governor of Kaduna state, Nasir el-Rufai, said the minister of women affairs, Aisha Alhassan, has never been a supporter of Buhari.
El-Rufai said he was not surprised that the minister openly endorsed former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar, adding that she was not in Buhari’s camp during the presidential primary election of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and has never supported the president’s ideology.
According to the governor, Buhari ignored reservations expressed by party members when selecting her as a minister, adding that retaining or replacing her is “the discretion of the president”.
