A male passenger has been arrested by the police after being caught stealing valuable from a passenger's bag while traveling with the G.Agofure motors from Lagos to Warri.
The suspected thief
According to an eyewitness who was in G. Agofure motors when a middle-aged man was nabbed stealing from the bag of another passenger while heading to Warri from Lagos.
The young man appeared so desperate about occupying the back seat in the vehicle which he finally did with a supposed friend that appeared much younger than him. He reportedly refused to allow a lady join him and his suspected group at the back of the car which according to the passenger provided shield for him.
Luck ran out on the suspected thief when the woman who owned the bag he was searching heard noises which made her look back. She was shocked to see the culprit with her towel in his hand.
This led to an argument that forced the driver to park the vehicle. He knew his game was up, so he started running. The bus chased caught up with him before the others gave him support to overpower the suspect.
Luckily, there were policemen around and the guy was arrested at Ibafo, Ogun state. He was hand-cuffed and taken to the Ibafo divisional police headquarters with other suspected colleagues of his.
