A member of an armed bandit who specializes in attacking communities in Zamfara state has been shot dead by soldiers.

Troops of 223 Battalion, 1 Division Nigerian Army, on Thursday thwarted efforts of suspected armed bands that besieged Tsafe, Tsafe Local Government Area of Zamfara State to cause mayhem on Thursday 21st September 2017.
The troops on receipt of information about the presence of the armed bandits, mobilized immediately, moved to the area. They killed one of the armed bandits and recovered 2 AK-47 rifles, 6 magazines and 7 motorcycles.
Unfortunately, a personnel of Federal Safety Corps (FRSC) was killed by the marauders before the arrival of the troops. You are please requested to disseminate this information to the public through your medium.
