Police officers at Ilasamaja Division in Lagos were horrified when suspected robbers invaded the station in the day time.

The robbers reportedly went to where exhibits were kept, carted one of the items and escaped.

P. M. Express reports that this happened in the day while officers were on duty and nobody could say if it was the plan of an insider from the station.

The Divisional Police Officer, DPO was said to be greatly embarrassed and therefore charged the officers to provide the exhibit.

The exhibit that the robbers were said to have stolen was a set of heavy generator radiator worth N280,000 belonging to an undisclosed suspect.

However, one of the suspects, Tobiloba Tajudeen was arrested and charged before a Lagos court for his involvement in the disappearance of the item.

The 25-year old suspect denied knowing anything about the item but the police said he was culpable. An embattled Tajudeen was arraigned before Isolo Magistrates court for the alleged offence. He pleaded not guilty.

The presiding Magistrate, Mr A.O. Ogbe granted him bail in the sum of N200,000 with two sureties.

The suspect was remanded in prison custody pending when he will perfect their bail condition and the matter was adjourned till 7th of  October, 2017.
