The abandoned corpse
There is a corpse currently lying by the road side in Abuja. The corpse of the unidentified middle-aged man was abandoned around CITEC Pedestrian Bridge, in-between Gwarimpa and Galadima bus stops.
The cause of the man's death is presently unknown but however, those around the scene suspect that it may have been caused by a hit-and-run driver or an armed robbery attack.
Commuters and passers-by are worried that the stench from the decaying corpse poses serious health threat and have called on the police, Abuja Environmental Protection Board, AEPB and Area Council official to help do away with the corpse.
