President Muhammadu Buhari who travelled to London from the United States where he went for the 72nd United Nations General Assembly, arrived Nigeria on Monday evening from London.
President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday evening, returned back to Nigeria without much fanfare after spending four days in the United Kingdom undergoing medical tests and treatment.
The President prior to the UK visit, had spent a week in New York attending the 72nd United Nations General Assembly. He spoke at the General Debate on Tuesday and was in a group of African leaders who met with United States President last Wednesday.
Buhari had left New York on Friday for London, and following his release by his doctors, he departed Stansted Airport in London at about 11:45 a.m. UK time arriving Abuja at 6:40 p.m.
It was gathered that President Buhari is expected to return to the UK for further check-ups or treatment depending on the state of his health.
