A man who was apparently quite fed up with life, has stunned his community, as he hangs himself on the road, beside a primary school.

A middle-aged man has killed himself on Ayeyemi Street, Ondo town, Ondo State, Punch Metro reports.
It was learnt that the remains of the man, whose identity had yet to be ascertained as of the time of filing this report, were found dangling from a tree beside a school on the street.
A source said the deceased was not a resident of the community, adding that efforts were on to locate his family.
He added that the matter had been reported to the police.
He said, “The residents just woke up on Saturday to see the body of a man dangling from a tree.
“His slippers were seen at the scene and his phone was intermittently ringing inside his pocket. But no one removed it from his pocket.”
The state Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Femi Joseph, said the police had yet to commence investigation into the incident.
He said, “The community asked us not to do anything about the incident yet.
“The leaders explained to the policemen that went to the scene of the incident that there are some rituals that they have to perform before anybody can do anything about the man.”
The PPRO added that nobody had been arrested.
