Abba Kyari who led the Inspector General of Police Intelligence Response Team that arrest suspected billionaire kidnapper, Chukwudememe Onwuamadike popularly known as Evans, has been award for doing a good job.
Kyari won the City Pride Achievers Award as the most outstanding crime fighter of the year, 2017.
The police officer was promoted from the rank of an Assistant Commissioner of Police to Deputy Commissioner of police soon after the arrest of Evans.
