Following public outcry over the state of Aso Rock clinic, President Muhammadu Buhari has summoned Medical Director of State House Medical Centre.

President Muhammadu Buhari has summoned Dr. Mannir Hussain, Medical Director of State House Medical Centre, over the deplorable condition of the facility, according to a report by The Independent.
The President also summoned Jalal Arabi, who is the State House Permanent Secretary. It was gathered that the two principal officers were invited by Buhari presumably on the weight of negative reports and observations coming from visitors to the facility.
It is also believed that an alleged public outcry by his daughter, Zahra Buhari expressing dissatisfaction on social media with the state of the medical centre could be another factor.
The Aso Rock clinic gulped a whopping N3.8 billion from the 2017 national budget, yet many people have complained of its inability to live up to international standard.
Zahra, have reportedly expressed embarrassment over the facility’s gross inadequacies. This situation may have prompted the president to invite the officials to his office on Wednesday.
