The Minister of State for Petroleum, Dr. Ibe Kachikwu, who arrived Aso Rock some minutes ago, has gone into a closed door meeting with President Buhari over the feud between the minister and the GMD of NNPC.
Photos which just emerged online have shown that the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Ibe Kachikwu, has arrived at the presidential villa to meet President Muhammadu Buhari.
The meeting is coming two days after a memo sent by the minister to the president, complaining about insubordination and alleged corruption by the Group Managing Director of the NNPC, Maikanti Baru, was leaked to the media.
The minister is expected to further discuss his allegations and the content of his memo which could instigate the probing of Baru with the president at the Friday’s meeting.
