A heartless man has been arrested by policemen after he committed a most horrible offence against the mother of his child.
Michael Roberson brutally murdered the mother of his child
Police said a Tennessee allegedly stabbed the mother of his child and gouged her eyes out in a horrific attack.
According to NYDaily, the man identified as Michael Roberson, who faces charges of attempted first-degree murder and aggravated assault, told police that the two started fighting over their son, according to an arrest affidavit cited by WTVC.
Police arrived at the Chattanooga home on Wednesday evening to find the woman face down with one of her eyeballs on the ground next to her.
The woman, who lost both her eyes, also sustained stab wounds in the stomach and breast, as well as a cut to her arm, according to the affidavit.
Roberson, who told police he blacked out and couldn’t remember what happened, said he was at a low point in his life.
A broken knife, keys and torn clothing were also found at scene.
Roberson was previously charged with assault in 2006, but those charges were dismissed by a judge who found him insane.
