Following the controversy over the death of Tagbo Umeike, who passed on over a week ago, pop singer, Davido has released an official press statement debunking claims that he told his driver and friends to dump Tagbo's body.

The last has never been heard of the controversies surrounding the sudden death of Tagbo Umeike, as his celebrity friend and singer, David Adeleke a.k.a Davido, has released a CCTV footage and an official statement, dissociating himself from the death.
The Nigerian music star, through his legal adviser, Norrison Quakers (SAN) said he was never arrested by the police, rather he made himself available for questioning.
A part of the statement read; "Our client maintains that he has not in any way lied about what he knows about the unfortunate incident, neither has his statement to the police been incoherent as unfortunately being presented in the media."
Davido also released CCTV footage from the Shisha lounge where he last saw the deceased before the tragic incident.
