The bodies of young students who died inside a river during an school excursion have been recovered after local divers intensified efforts.

According to a Punch Metro report, the bodies of the five missing students who
drowned in the Kaduna River on Wednesday have been recovered and deposited at the Saint Gerald Catholic Hospital in Kaduna.
The officials of the Kaduna State Emergency management Agency recovered the bodies with the support of the local divers.
The students had been on an excursion to a waterworks facility at the Kaduna River when a boat capsized. Nine of them were said to have slipped into the River but only four where rescued alive.
