A Nigerian man has surprised the girlfriend after proposing to her on a bridge in Uyo before a large crowd of well-wishers.

It was an emotional moment for a Nigerian man identified as Atuekong Paul Bassey who surprised the girlfriend before a large crowd in Uyo city as he proposed to her on a bridge.
People cheered him on as he bent the knee to propose to his girlfriend identified as Akemmi, who didn't waste time to accept the man who will become her husband.
The Akwa Ibom state commissioner for culture and tourism, Rt Hon Victor Antai and the Orange September team were present to witness the dramatic scene.
