2. Saido Berahino to Tottenham
Peace already has Berahino’s replacement, Salomon Rondon, in for just £12million - a brilliant bit of business. Peace is also well aware that Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is desperate for get Berahino in to help Harry Kane up front.
The word is that West Brom want £30million for their man. Even if they settle for £25million that would represent a healthy profit - and sting a bit for Levy.
3.Andros Townsend to Aston Villa
The Midlands club are positioning themselves to be first in the queue if the England winger gets the green light to go.
4.Jonathan de Guzman to Bournemouth
The Dutch international forward - who has already spent two successful seasons at Swansea - is expected to complete a move to the south coast.
5. Joleon Lescott to Aston Villa
Squeezed out of West Brom by the arrivals of Jonny Evans and James Chester. But Joleon Lescott is definitely a man wanted by Tim Sherwood at Villa Park. The 33-year-old should sign for an initial £1m later today.
6Virgil van Dijk to Southampton
This deal was agreed yesterday and is actually understood to be for £14million rather than the £11.5m being suggested. A big outlay for the Saints but Ronald Koeman is a big admirer of the player who will strengthen his backline.
7.Aaron Lennon to Everton
So Spurs are faced with a straight choice: a cut-price deal for him to go to Everton or nothing next summer? The north Londoners are generally not a club to walk away from money
8.Michail Antonio to West Ham
The highly-rated Nottingham Forest winger is desperate to go to Upton Park but the move has stalled because his club want his £7million transfer fee up front.
West Ham have told them there is no chance of that. But with the player’s heart now set on the move (and cash-strapped Forest needing whatever they can get) it should happen.
9.Mile Jedinak to Stoke
The Aussie midfielder has been told he will be a fringe player at Crystal Palace this season following the arrival of Yohan Cabaye. West Brom and Watford have also come in for him but Stoke lead the chase with Mark Hughes a big fan.
10. Glenn Murray to Bournemouth
A £5m fee has already been agreed (quite a bit for a player that Palace didn’t want) and the 31-year-old Eagles striker should be adding his experience to the Cherries’ front line this season.
He has scored 47 goals in 125 appearances for Palace since he moved there from Brighton four years ago. Now he is set to finish his career back on the south coast.
