Nigeria's new Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, has finally assumed his duties after being sworn in by the president.

Mr. Boss Mustapha, the new Secretary to the Government of the Federation, on Wednesday formally took over from Dr. Habiba Lawal who has been in charge since April when Babachir Lawal was suspended.
The brief handover ceremony took place inside his office shortly after he was inaugurated by President Muhammadu Buhari.
He promised to offer a purposeful and result-oriented leadership.
